A study conducted by the Anti-Corruption Agency of the public procurement to the order of the Chortoq District Medical Association on April 19, 2023, for the provision of outsourcing services in the amount of 1 billion 577.5 million soums, revealed the violations of the requirements of articles 10, 14 and 46 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan ‘On Public Procurement’, and a number of other violations.
In particular, the documents of two entrepreneurs who participated in the competition were uploaded to the electronic platform through the IP address of the computer used by the Secretary of the Procurement Commission.
In this regard, the Agency submitted to the customer a statutory notice to cancel the Protocol of the Procurement Commission, and the collected materials were sent to the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor’s Office. Thus, an enquiry was sent to the Ministry of Health for an internal audit.
According to the information provided to the Agency, on April 27, the Chortoq District Medical Association, on the basis of the Agency’s statutory notice, annulled the Protocol of the Procurement Commission.
