The Anti-Corruption Agency has conducted a study of public procurement in the amount of 983.5 million soums, carried out on June 21, 2023, by order of Kamchikavtoyul UE, which revealed a number of violations of the law.
In particular, the documents of two entrepreneurs who participated in the procurement were uploaded to the electronic platform through the IP address of the computer used by the Procurement Commission.
As a result, the requirements of Articles 10, 14 and 46 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan ‘On Public Procurement’ were violated.
Based on this, on June 21, the Anti-Corruption Agency submitted a statutory notice to the customer on the annulment of the Procurement Commission Protocol. The collected materials were sent to the Department on Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor’s Office.
An enquiry was sent to the Committee for Roads of the Republic of Uzbekistan for an internal audit.
On June 22, Kamchikavtoyul UE canceled the Protocol of the Procurement Commission.
