The Anti-Corruption Agency has submitted a draft law "On amendments to the Code of Administrative Responsibility of the Republic of Uzbekistan" for public discussion. The draft proposes to amend the Code of Administrative Responsibility of the Republic of Uzbekistan for violation of the legislation on transparency of public administration. In particular, violation of the legislation on transparency of public administration, including non-disclosure or incomplete disclosure of information that is subject to public disclosure, violation of the terms and procedure of disclosure or misrepresentation of information: - causing officials to impose a fine of 3 to 5 times the (BHM); - a similar offense is punishable by a fine of 5 to 10 times the (BHM) if committed repeatedly within one year after the imposition of an administrative penalty. The Code also introduces a provision for the Anti-Corruption Agency to draw up a report on administrative offenses against officials in case of violations of the law on transparency of public administration.
