Uzbekistan has been carried out a systematic work in recent years in landscaping and greening its cities and settlements, protecting trees and shrubs, as well as expanding green spaces. In particular, the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of December 30, 2021 ‘On measures to accelerate the work on landscaping and further effective organization of tree protection in the republic’ sets specific tasks.

According to the document, various events are regularly organized in all regions of the republic within the framework of the Green Country Nationwide Project aimed at protecting Uzbekistan from the negative impact of environmental problems.

For to ensure the implementation of this Decree, in particular, actively promote the implementation of the Green Country Nationwide Project, the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized February 19 a public event, during which the management and employees planted ornamental and fruit trees, shrubs and flower seedlings. Beautification and upgrading of the Agency territory was also organized.

The Anti-Corruption Agency intends to continue actively participating in similar activities, including landscaping, protecting trees and shrubs, as well as expanding green spaces in cities and settlements. In particular, this spring the Agency plans to plant even more fruit and ornamental trees and shrubs on its territory.
