Members of the delegation met at the Boston office of the US Federal Bureau of Investigation with Bureau special representatives Anthony M. Sankey and Matthew F. Giacobbi.
For reference: Anthony M. Sankey is a Supervisory Special Agent, FBI Public Corruption Unit. He is the Program Coordinator for Anti-Corruption, Civil Rights and Fraud in four US states.
Matthew F. Giacobbi focuses on corruption, civil rights violations, healthcare fraud, financial crime, and securities fraud in four states in the northeastern United States.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation is the main body investigating corruption crimes in the United States. In this regard, the parties exchanged views on the conduct of corruption cases, cases of fraud related to public procurement, contracts and federal financial programs, as well as digital tools used in this process.
The parties reached an agreement on organizing special training programs for law enforcement agencies of Uzbekistan with the support of the US State Department.
