In the first half of 2022, the Anti-Corruption Agency received 1,169 appeals, of which 1,134 were considered.
Based on their consideration, 25 inquiries were sent to the relevant ministries and departments, regional, district and city administrations, as well as 15 statutory notices were submitted to eliminate violations of the law.
Based on the results of the study of appeals, 9 documents issued in violation of the law were annulled. Based on the documents submitted by the Agency, law enforcement agencies initiated 7 criminal cases, 4 cases of administrative liability and 2 cases of disciplinary liability, as well as measures were taken to eliminate existing shortcomings. The financial mistakes and shortcomings identified in the study of appeals amounted to 30.4 billion soums.
Most of the appeals received by the Agency relate to problems in the judicial sector, inappropriate actions of officials and corruption in certain areas.

Studies on compliance with the requirements of legislation in public procurement
The Roadmap has been developed taking into account the proposals of 28 ministries and departments for the implementation of the Sphere without Corruption Project in public procurement 2022-2023 and approved by the National Anti-Corruption Council.
In terms of compliance with the requirements of the legislation on public procurement, financial mistakes and shortcomings in the amount of 48.5 billion soums were identified in 1,143 cases in 10 ministries, departments and organizations.

Moreover, based on the results of remote monitoring, 46 statutory notices to eliminate the causes and conditions of corruption offenses in connection with the announced procurement in the amount of 294.4 billion soums and about 40 inquiries were sent to law enforcement agencies, as a result of which 4 criminal cases and 8 administrative cases were initiated, in 8 cases, disciplinary measures were applied to responsible employees.
On the compliance control system
Nowadays, 117 government agencies, including banks, have established Internal Anti-Corruption Control Units.
Over the past period of 2022, the Agency studied the state of implementation of the internal control system in 78 ministries and departments.
Following the study, 18 statutory notices were submitted to the ministries and departments on the issues of effective organization of activities in this area.
In the first half of 2022, Internal Anti-Corruption Control Units revealed financial mistakes and shortcomings in the amount of 151.7 billion soums, the collected documents were sent to law enforcement agencies.
Foreign experts were involved to train more than 400 employees of Internal Anti-Corruption Control Units of government agencies and organizations, 3 methodological manuals were published on the implementation of the internal anti-corruption control system.
To date, 19 government organizations and 1 commercial bank have received the ISO 37001:2016 international standard certificate.
In order to effectively organize the activities of Internal Anti-Corruption Control Units in ministries and departments, more than 60 training seminars, courses and round tables were organized, which improved the knowledge and skills of about five thousand civil servants.
