This January 20-21, the Anti-Corruption Agency, together with the Representative Office of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation on Central Asia, organized a seminar on the topic ‘Transparency of public administration and the formation of an intolerant attitude towards corruption in society’.
Akmal Burkhanov, Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency, and Mr. Ronnie Heine, Authorized Representative of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation on Central Asia delivered a welcoming speech.
During the seminar, a thorough discussion of a wide range of issues took place, including ‘Implementation of the administrative reforms of the New Uzbekistan’, ‘The essence of the Address by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Oliy Majlis and the people of Uzbekistan, and the state policy to combat corruption’, ‘Ensuring openness and transparency of the activities of government agencies and organizations’.
The participants of the seminar also held presentations on the Agency activity results 2022 and the plans for 2023.
