Based on the appeal of citizen A. to the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan regarding violations of the law in the work of the Agricultural Crop Strain Testing Center at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a study has been conducted in the prescribed manner.

The working group involved in the study revealed a number of offenses, errors and shortcomings in the activities of the Center.

In particular, cases of violations were identified related to the inclusion of crop strains in the state register, the use of allocated experimental land plots, labor legislation, non-receipt of payments for the provision of public services, as well as errors in the payment of wages, etc.

The Anti-Corruption Agency submitted materials collected to the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan for a legal assessment.

At present, the Prosecutor’s Office has initiated a criminal case under article 167 part 3 paragraph A, article 205 part 2 paragraph A, article 207 part 1 and article 209 part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, investigative actions are being carried out.
