The Department for the Execution of Punishment under the Ministry of Internal Affairs has hosted the anti-corruption awareness lesson, during which the Anti-Corruption Agency officer made speech on the topic ‘Fighting corruption is the key to development.’

The employees of the Central Office of the Department were provided with detailed information on the international legal framework for combating corruption, national legislation, preventive measures taken by the Agency to prevent and increase the effectiveness of the fight against corruption.

In particular, during the event, the participants discussed the work carried out in such areas as the organization of activities for internal anti-corruption control in ministries and departments, rating assessment of the effectiveness of the fight against corruption in government agencies and organizations, detection, assessment and prevention of corruption risks, and managing conflicts of interest.

In addition, the Agency officer provided important and useful information about the cost of a gift that a civil servant can receive during business trips, international and other official events, as well as disposal of gift.

Following the discussion, the participants expressed their views on the topic.
