Recently, daryo.uz has posted a publication about the public procurement violations in Khorezm Region.

The Anti-Corruption Agency conducted a study of this public procurement, which revealed that on May 12, 2023, on the special information portal etender.uzex.uz, the Koshkupir District Specialized School under the Agency for Presidential Educational Institutions announced a tender worth 94.8 million soums for the purchase and installation of information stands.

According to the Minutes of the Procurement Commission of May 19, 2023, R.I LLC was chosen as the winner, and M.Y.F LLC was chosen as the reserve winner.

During the study, it was revealed that although the founders and managers of the winner and reserve winner companies were recognized mutually affiliated, they were not removed from the competition by the Procurement Commission, and, as a result, the requirements of Article 42 of the Law ‘On Public Procurement’ violated.

In connection with this and other cases of violation of the law, on May 22, 2023, the Anti-Corruption Agency submitted a statutory notice to the customer to cancel the public procurement.

In addition, the collected materials were submitted to the State Financial Control Inspectorate for a legal assessment.
