The study by the Anti-Corruption Agency of public procurement in the amount of 300 million soums, conducted on May 30, 2023 by vocational school No. 2 of Khovos District, has revealed that the documents of two participants in the competition were uploaded to the electronic platform through the IP address of the computer used by the Procurement Commission.
As a result, the requirements of Articles 10,14 and 46 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan ‘On Public Procurement’ were violated.
In this regard, on June 14, the Anti-Corruption Agency submitted a statutory notice to the customer to cancel the Protocol of the Procurement Commission, and the collected materials were sent to the Department on Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor’s Office.
Also, an enquiry was sent to the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan for an internal audit.
On June 16, vocational school No. 2 of Khovos District annulled the Protocol of the Procurement Commission.
