The meeting was organised with the support of the United Nations Development Programme.
During the meeting, the sides discussed mutual support and cooperation of international organisations in the fight against corruption in our country.
International organisations expressed their full support for anti-corruption reforms in Uzbekistan. First and foremost, they noted that the improvement of legislation, the development of long-term programmes, the involvement of modern information and communication technologies in the field, and increasing the activity of young people, the population, civil society institutions and the media would be priority areas.
As a result of the meeting, specific areas of cooperation between the Agency and international organisations were identified. It was also agreed to establish a working group for regular coordination between the Agency and representatives of donor organisations.
