On May 3 this year, the Anti-Corruption Agency hosted a working group meeting to organise a series of trainings on "Anti-Corruption Expertise of legal acts and their Drafts".
The workshop was attended by Agency staff, the management of the Department of Regulatory Impact Assessment of the Ministry of Justice, an officer of the National Anti-Corruption Programme of the UNODC Regional Office for Central Asia, and Professor of the Institute of State and Law of the Russian Academy of Sciences

At the meeting, held on the framework of the Action Plan 2021 signed between the Agency and UNODC, a UNODC official and a Russian expert were briefed on the system of anti-corruption expertise of legal acts, legislation and practices in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Also during the event, the organisational issues of the planned event were discussed and a preliminary agreement was reached on conducting trainings in 2 stages, including Stage 1 with the participation of representatives of legal services from all state structures and Stage 2 with the participation of experts from the Agency, the Ministry of Justice and other bodies.
