The structures responsible for coordination and interaction with the bodies and organizations involved in the fight against corruption in the regions are starting their activities.

In particular, the constituent meeting of the Syrdarya Territorial Anti -  Corruption Council was held yesterday in Gulistan.

The assembly was attended by members of the Territorial Anti -  Corruption Council, media representatives, as well as Chairman of the Senate Committee Narimon Umarov, Deputy Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency Talatjon Khaidarov and Deputy Minister of Health Abdulla Azizov.

At the meeting, the speakers informed about the measures taken to combat corruption and the role of territorial councils in their implementation, about the mechanisms of these councils to identify gaps in current legislation and make proposals to eliminate them, as well as current problems.
