These days, the Anti-Corruption Agency, the Ministry of Justice, the Academy of Public Administration and the Academy of the Prosecutor General’s Office have signed an Agreement on the establishment of a system of regular trainings of civil servants on combating corruption, conflicts of interest and ethical conduct. It was initiated in compliance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of July 6, 2021 ‘On additional measures for the effective organization of anti-corruption activities.’
According to the document, training courses will be conducted on the principle of “integrity vaccine” by specialists, teachers and trainers of the above-mentioned government agencies and institutions.
The trainings will consist of basic and special in-depth courses. Basic courses will be organized for civil servants for a total of 12 hours, while special in-depth courses will be at least 50 hours.

The Academy of Public Administration and the Academy of the General Prosecutor’s Office organize special in-depth courses, participation in which is carried out on the basis of an agreement between the employer and the educational institution.
The program of basic and special in-depth courses will be annually developed by the Academy of Public Administration, the Academy of the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Center for Advanced Training of Lawyers and published on their official websites.
The Academy of Public Administration, the Academy of the General Prosecutor’s Office and the Center for Advanced Training of Lawyers will issue appropriate certificates on completion of basic or special in-depth courses.
The Anti-Corruption Agency will monitor the process and will provide practical assistance to ministries and departments in this area.
