This February 16, a special course for heads of organizational and control departments of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regional, district (city), and Tashkent city hokimiyats (administrations) started at the Academy of Public Administration in Tashkent.
The main goal of the courses is to improve the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of the heads of organizational and control departments and to promote their further professional development.
More than 200 participants take part in the two-stage courses, including heads of departments, representatives of the public and the media.
As part of a special training program, attendees hone their skills on personnel policy in Uzbekistan, prospects for the development of the state civil service in the country, urgent tasks for the effective organization of the activities of organizational and personnel structures of local administrations.
In particular, professors, specialists from ministries and departments conduct theoretical and practical classes on the essence and importance of the ‘New Uzbekistan Development Strategy 2022-2026’, the content of the draft law ‘On the Civil Service’. The trainers also increase the knowledge of the course attendees on other areas as well, including ‘Culture, Ethics and Leadership’, ‘Preparation of the Roadmap for the socio-economic development of the regions’ and others.
In particular, at a special training seminar, employees of the Anti-Corruption Agency made a presentation on ‘Prospects for the implementation of integrity standards in the civil service’.
The course attendees who successfully complete the 4-day training program will receive special certificates.
