The working group of the Anti-Corruption Agency, together with the head of the Republican Center for Control and Coordination of Implementation of State Programs in Construction Sector and its other members, as well as representatives of relevant departments, took part in the study of ongoing work on preventing violations in the implementation of state programs in the regions, targeted and effective the use of budgetary funds and ensuring the quality of construction and repair work.
The study was carried out in order to ensure the implementation of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of December 10, 2021 ‘On additional measures to strengthen control over the implementation of the program for development of social and industrial infrastructure of the Republic of Uzbekistan and other state programs.’
Specialists visited Bukhara Region on March 1 to study the state of construction work in the Bukhara branch of the Republican Research Center for Emergency Medical Care, the construction of a universal sports complex in Bukhara, the physiotherapy department of the Central Hospital in Olot District and the branch of ‘Boribek’ rural medical center in Davlatboy community. They also studied the construction of drinking water supply systems in Poykent, Sayyot, Kulonchi, Shurobod and Qorakol communities in Qorakol District, and the construction-repair work at the Bukhara State Medical Institute.
In addition, the working group studied the quality of construction work carried out on the New Uzbekistan residential area in Gijduvon District and the Medical Association in Shofirkon District.
On March 2-3, the studies conducted in Navoi Region. The specialists analyzed the quality of the construction work carried out in 2021 in Ayronchi community in Qiziltepa District within the framework of the Prosperous Village State Program; the state of construction work on the New Uzbekistan residential area in Qiziltepa District; construction of the therapy department of the Republican Research Center for Emergency Medical Care and the Puppet Theater in Navoi city.
The state of work in a number of facilities in Nurota District was also studied, including the improvement of the territories of the Children’s and Youth Sports School, the Cultural Center, and ‘Chashma’ sanctuary, as well as the reconstruction of the Navoi-Nurota highway in Navbahor District, and the construction work on the New Uzbekistan residential area in Karmana District.
During the study, the heads of departments were given appropriate instructions for the timely, complete and high-quality implementation of state programs, as well as ensuring targeted and efficient use of funds.
