This March 18, the Anti-Corruption Agency hosted a meeting with Ambassador Dr. Pierre von Arx, the OSCE Project Coordinator in Uzbekistan.
The 2022 Action Plan was signed at the meeting between the Anti-Corruption Agency and the OSCE Project Coordinator Office in Uzbekistan.
For reference: In November 2021, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Office of the Coordinator of OSCE Economic and Environmental Activities and the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan aimed at developing effective governance in Uzbekistan through digitalization and the use of open data.
The 2022 Action Plan provides for the further strengthening of bilateral relations, the exchange of experience, the introduction of information technologies in the system of combating and preventing corruption, as well as implementation of joint projects, conducting seminars, training programs, internships and other activities aimed at ensuring openness and transparency in the activities of government agencies and organizations.
The document also serves to support the anti-corruption policy and reforms of Uzbekistan by ensuring the transparency of the activities of government agencies and building the capacity of civil servants in ensuring a policy of openness.
