A meeting of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Council of the Service for Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan has been held these days, during which issues of strengthening the uncompromising fight against corruption and ensuring the transparency of the Service’s activities were considered.

Specialists of the Anti-Corruption Agency also participated in the meeting, during which the address of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Republic of Uzbekistan was read out.

The address noted that one of the main tasks in the field is the transformation of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Service into a corruption-free system.

In turn, the Anti-Corruption Agency specialist informed the audience about the Roadmaps for 2022-2023 and the goals set for the implementation of the Sphere without Corruption project, developed by the Agency in conjunction with the Ministry of Health and other ministries and departments.

The specialist also noted that the Agency is always ready to cooperate with the Service for Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health and to provide practical assistance to the Service specialists.
