The Anti-Corruption Agency has held a meeting with officials of the Ministry of Finance, the Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange and system operators of a special information portal from JV ‘XT Xarid Texnologiyalari’ in order to identify and prevent corruption risks in organizing public procurement.

The meeting analyzed the ongoing work to strengthen public control, openness and transparency of public procurement.

Particular attention was paid to existing problems in the system and measures to eliminate them.

It was noted that it is necessary to take measures to prevent cases of adaptation in the procurement documentation of qualification and technical requirements for participants for one supplier.

According to the meeting participants, it is also important to determine the mutual affiliation of the customer, members of the tender commission and participants, monitor the implementation of contracts and maintain analytical data on prices for goods in the electronic public procurement system.

They noted that in order to prevent corruption risks in the public procurement system, it is necessary to introduce a rating mechanism for participants.

Issues of improving the knowledge and skills of customers in the implementation of electronic procurement were also discussed.

Following the meeting, the participants identified appropriate measures to eliminate existing problems.
