Participation of citizens is especially important in the fight against corruption. The intolerant attitude of citizens towards corruption is also manifested in their appeals. The consideration of such appeals and the search for their solution is in the focus of the Anti-Corruption Agency.
In particular, the leadership and officers of the Agency have established a practice of receiving citizens, as well as systematic work is underway to protect the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of individuals and legal entities.
On April 29, Akmal Burkhanov, Director of the Agency, held another personal reception of citizens.
Citizens who came from different regions of the country mainly complained about court decisions, as well as the lack of a full and impartial consideration of appeals by various ministries and departments. During the dialogue, citizens expressed their opinions and proposals on the fight against corruption.
At the reception, citizens’ appeals were heard, appropriate legal explanations and advice on solving problems were given. Citizens whose appeals require time to be studied submitted written complaints, and their consideration was taken under strict control of the Agency’s leadership.
The Director’s personal reception went very productive, during which the citizens received answers to their questions and the necessary advice, and also discussed methods of combating corruption and ways to effectively implement measures in this area.
