The Bukhara Regional Anti-Corruption Council has held its regular meeting, which discussed the issues of corruption practices in the preschool education system and ways of preventing them.
According to the analysis, in 2021, 10 criminal cases were initiated against 13 people working in the regional preschool education system. They were charged with embezzlement, theft and bribery.
At the meeting, it was noted that such negative phenomena undermine both the effectiveness of anti-corruption reforms and the public trust. The prosecutor of the region and the head of the department of preschool education reported on the causes of these crimes and the measures taken to prevent them.
During the discussions, the issue of further improvement of the activities of the Regional Anti-Corruption Council was also considered.
Following the meeting, goals and objectives were identified to further improve the efficiency of work to prevent and combat corruption in the region.
