On June 23 - July 13, the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China organized a seminar on the theme ‘Preventing and Corruption Punishment in Economic Field for Developing Countries.’
Specialists from the Anti-Corruption Agency, the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan attended the seminar.
The main goal of the seminar was to increase the level of knowledge of the employees of the agencies responsible for combating corruption in the field of preventing corruption in the economic field, to familiarize them with international experience and best practices, as well as to develop specific practical proposals by analyzing existing problems and shortcomings.
At the seminar, the features of global anti-corruption management, measures and problems of combating this evil were discussed in detail.
Effective technologies and modern mechanisms in the fight against corruption, as well as the importance of their implementation were also on the focus.
The participants were familiarized with China’s experience in combating corruption.
The seminar also discussed measures to combat corruption crimes in the private sector.
Chinese experts shared their experience of important and basic processes for investigating crimes related to economic bribery, aspects that should be paid attention to, as well as international practice.
