This question was on the focus of the regional training seminars organized by the Anti-Corruption Agency in cooperation with the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Recently-held training seminar was organized jointly with the Committee’s Internal Affairs Unit for employees of the Tashkent city customs administration, and other customs posts, located on the territory of Tashkent city.
The event provided detailed information on the state policy and its priorities in the fight against corruption, international experience in this area, and challenges for the future.
Also, the factors causing corruption in the customs system and negative situations in the activities of customs officials were considered in detail using specific examples.
During the training seminar, a social survey was also conducted to assess trends in corruption risks and improve the moral and spiritual atmosphere among customs officials.
At the end of the event, measures were identified to be implemented in the future in order to prevent corruption and uncompromising fight against it.
