This August 30, the Anti-Corruption Agency held a festive event timed to the 31st anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Akmal Burkhanov, Director of the Agency, opened the event with a congratulatory speech. As he noted, life of the country and the people changed dramatically after gaining independence, and now the New Uzbekistan Concept is becoming a true reality.
The Anti-Corruption Agency makes a significant contribution to these historical processes with its efforts aimed at creating an intolerant attitude towards corruption in society and implementing measures to prevent corruption in all areas.
In his speech, Akmal Burkhanov noted that today’s reforms in New Uzbekistan and the country’s dynamic development pose new challenges for the Agency in terms of introducing advanced anti-corruption mechanisms and strengthening intolerance for this evil in society.
During the festive event, a group of employees of the Agency was awarded a certificate of honor and a letter of thanks for their fruitful work and active participation in public works.
