The Anti-Corruption Agency organized October 21 a seminar on the priority areas of the State Anti-Corruption Policy for employees of the central office and regional departments of the Mahallabai Work and Entrepreneurship Development Agency.
The seminar attendees received detailed information on the ongoing work to improve the regulatory framework for combating corruption, developing the activities of the government agencies and organizations responsible for combating corruption, implementing international standards for combating corruption in the legislation of Uzbekistan, and improving the country’s position in international rankings.
It was noted that over the past period, the Anti-Corruption Agency has developed a total of 24 draft regulatory acts aimed at improving the effectiveness of combating corruption, and 6 of them have been adopted.
The studies of current regulatory acts and their drafts identified more than 300 corruption factors in them, and the Agency submitted recommendations to the relevant ministries and departments to eliminate them.
At the seminar, the participants received answers to questions regarding some of the problems they face in the course of their activities.
