The World Justice Project has announced the Rule of Law Index 2022.

According to the updated rating, Uzbekistan rose by 7 positions, and the country ranked 78th among 140 states (in 2021, Uzbekistan ranked 85th).

For reference: in the Rule of Law Index, experts evaluate the effectiveness of reforms aimed at ensuring the rule of law in countries, as well as the impact of reforms in this direction on the daily life of the population.

In the Absence of Corruption Factor, Uzbekistan moved up to 66th place, (in the last published rating, Uzbekistan ranked 70th).

It is worth noting that the indicators of the country on this factor have been increasing over the past 5 years in a row (in 2016, Uzbekistan ranked 96th among 113 states).

The improvement of indicators in this ranking testifies to the effectiveness of practical reforms carried out in Uzbekistan.
