The Anti-Corruption Agency has held its regular seminar for regional anti-corruption council, which discussed the activities of internal anti-corruption control units and the whistleblower reward process.
The Agency’s specialists started the seminar with providing a detailed information on the activities of the internal anti-corruption control units. In particular, the activities of the compliance control units, the legal framework of the sphere, the work carried out in connection with the implementation of this system, and the problems that arise in the process.
The specialists spoke about the work to improve the efficiency of the activities of anti-corruption units, and also paid special attention to the tasks facing the regional councils, such as ensuring the full implementation of internal documents adopted within the compliance control system, monitoring the establishment and effective functioning of communication channels, organizing rating assessment.
In the second part of the seminar, the participants shared views on the content of the Regulation ‘On the procedure for rewarding persons who report corruption offenses or otherwise contributed to the fight against corruption’, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No.829 of December 31, 2020.
The Agency’s specialists noted that the rules of this Regulation should be actively promoted in events organized by regional anti-corruption councils among the population, employees of enterprises and organizations.
