The State Inspectorate for Control of Informatization and Telecommunications has hosted the Doors Open Day, timed to December 9, the International Anti-Corruption Day. The employees of the Inspectorate, public activists, citizens, and media representatives attended the event, organized as part of the Anti-Corruption Week.
The Anti-Corruption Agency officers also took part in the event.
It is worth mentioning that on June 24, 2021, the Anti-Corruption Agency and the State Inspectorate for Control of Informatization and Telecommunications signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.
On the basis of this Memorandum, the relevant departments of the State Inspectorate made presentations on the ongoing work to combat corruption in the field of communications, information and telecommunications, arrangement of the work of the Internal Anti-Corruption Control Unit, as well as the work to ensure openness and transparency of activities.
The Anti-Corruption Agency provides the Inspectorate with practical and methodological assistance in ensuring the effective organization of the compliance control system.
Employees of the Internal Anti-Corruption Control Unit of the Inspectorate underwent advanced training courses organized by CERT ACADEMY and received the certificates.
At the moment, the Inspectorate is carrying out the necessary work to obtain a certificate of the international standard ISO 37001:2016.
At the events organized within the framework of the Open Doors Day, issues of further strengthening the work in the field of combating corruption and its prevention were discussed in detail.
