The 20th International Anti-Corruption Conference took place on December 6-10 in Washington D.C, USA, which brought together heads of state, ministers, as well as heads of departments and international organizations involved in anti-corruption activities.

The delegation of Uzbekistan also took part in the conference. The issues raised by the head of the delegation, Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency, as well as the proposals put forward by him, obtained wide recognition of the conference organizers.

In particular, the organizer of the international conference, the U.S. State Department’s Coordinator on Global Anti-Corruption, expressed his special gratitude.

According to him, the issues, opinions and proposals expressed by the Uzbekistan delegation during the discussions served to determine the main content of the conference. Also, it was noted that along with the awareness of the ongoing reforms in the country, the cooperation of the international community, governments and responsible organizations will improve the efficiency of work carried out in this track.
