The working visit of the delegation of Uzbekistan is organized with the support of the diplomatic mission of Uzbekistan in Latvia and the OSCE, during which bilateral meetings are planned with representatives of the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Estonia, E-Governance Academy, and other government bodies, as well as with representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Finance of Finland, and the leadership of the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority, and the Rule of Law Center at the University of Helsinki.
During the meetings, it is planned to study in detail the formation of anti-corruption policies in these countries, the coordination of the activities of government bodies in preventing corruption, as well as the experience on openness, transparency and accountability of government bodies. The prospects for mutual cooperation are also to be discussed.
For reference: Estonia is one of the leaders in Europe and the world in the implementation and development of e-government. The number of public services provided to the population is more than 600, and the number of public services provided to entrepreneurs is more than 2400.
Finland ranks 2nd in Transparency International’s Corruption Perceptions Index and is recognized as the country with the lowest corruption in the world.
