The Anti-Corruption Agency signed a Cooperation Memorandum with the Competition Promotion and Consumer Protection Committee. This document provides for conducting events aimed at increasing the knowledge and potential of the employees of the Committee’s system.
Based on this, the Anti-Corruption Agency specialists held April 28 a workshop for employees of the Central Office of the Committee, regional units and departments on the topic ‘Fighting corruption is the duty of all of us!’
The workshop placed a special emphasis on international standards and the experience of foreign countries related to the fight against corruption, in particular, on the issues of effective organization of the activities of internal anti-corruption control units (compliance control).
The organizers noted that over the past time the Anti-Corruption Agency had published a Guide containing practical recommendations for the implementation of an internal anti-corruption control system, a set of standard documents related to the activities of these structures, as well as Recommendations for evaluating the effectiveness of anti-corruption measures through a rating system, which were distributed among ministries and departments.
These publications have become an important help for government agencies and organizations ahead of the Agency’s this year rating assessment of the effectiveness of anti-corruption measures.
During the workshop, detailed information was provided on the procedure for conducting a rating assessment, according to which, the positive experience of organizations and departments (scoring 81-100) will be disseminated both among government workers and population for strengthening intolerance towards corruption.
The Anti-Corruption Agency specialists also shared knowledge and gave practical recommendations for further improvement of activities in the field of combating corruption.
