On July 24-27, the British Embassy in Uzbekistan, with the support of the Anti-Corruption Agency, organized training courses on building integrity in civil service.
The training course was conducted by the UK specialists, which attended by representatives of the Anti-Corruption Agency, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services, as well as the National Guard, the Civil Service Development Agency, the Agency of Information and Mass Communications.
Representatives of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan also attended the courses.
For reference: This kind of training course was first organized on June 6-9, 2022, and participated by about 30 representatives of various ministries and departments.
The courses covered a wide range of topics, including the impact of corruption on the civil service, the importance of building integrity, the ethics of the civil servant, public financial management (fraud, risk and audit), as well as public procurement, human resource management, anti-corruption strategies and plans, the role of the media and civil society in these processes.
During the course, representatives of the Anti-Corruption Agency made a presentation on anti-corruption reforms and measures taken in this track.
