The Anti-Corruption Agency has carried out remote monitoring of procurements by government customers, which revealed a number of cases of violations of the law:
In particular, the documents of the tender participants were uploaded to the electronic platform through the devices used by the members of the Procurement Commission (with the same IP addresses). Also, violations were identified during the evaluation of the participants’ bids.
As a result, the requirements of Articles 10, 14, 20 and 46 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan ‘On Public Procurement’ and a number of requirements of the Regulation approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan ‘On Approval of the Regulation on the procedure for organizing and conducting procedures related to public procurement’ were violated.
In the above cases, the Anti-Corruption Agency submitted statutory notices to customers on the cancellation of the Procurement Commission protocols and the elimination of violations of the law.
The collected materials were sent to the Department on Combating Economic Crimes at the General Prosecutor’s Office.
