INFORMATION
on the goals and objectives to be implemented by the Anti-Corruption Agency within the framework of the New Uzbekistan Development Strategy 2022-2026 and the State Program for its implementation in the "Year of Ensuring Human Interests and Mahalla Development"
The following goals and objectives are envisaged for implementation by the Anti-Corruption Agency in the New Uzbekistan Development Strategy 2022-2026, developed according to the principle ‘From the Action Strategy to the Development Strategy’ and the State Program for its implementation in the ‘Year of Ensuring Human Interests and Mahalla Development’:
In order to transform the activities of government agencies on the basis of the principle of "serving the people"
by December 2022:
▪️ Development of the draft Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan ‘On State Control’ in order to systematize all types of state control and establish clear mechanisms and procedures for their implementation;
▪️ Development of a draft Presidential Decree on measures to prevent conflicts of interest in the activities of inspections under government agencies.
In order to introduce a professional, fair, highly efficient public administration system
by November 2022:
▪️ Further expanding the volume of open information on important social issues and ensuring unhindered access to this information.
In order to introduce integrity standards in the civil service
by August 2022:
▪ Implementation of a system for informing and managing conflicts of interest in the civil service.
In order to identify areas and sectors prone to corruption, improve the effectiveness of the anti-corruption system, and cultivate in society intolerant attitude towards corruption
by April 2022:
▪️ Development of a draft Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the implementation of the E-Anti-Corruption Project;
throughout the year:
▪️ Ensuring openness and transparency in areas prone to corruption and involving the wider public in this process;
▪️ Development and implementation of effective practical measures both to eliminate the consequences and to prevent the causes of corruption.
by May 2022:
▪️ Implementation of a comprehensive system for increasing legal knowledge and awareness in the field through the introduction of the Virtual Anti-Corruption Academy.
In order to ensure the implementation of the State Program, the Agency takes measures to ensure the timely and high-quality implementation of the tasks.
Information on the measures taken within the framework of the State Program and their outcomes will be provided through the official website of the Agency.
